Nusa Lembongan is not only located in Bali Province, this tiny island also have the beauty of Bali. The beaches, clear waters, exotic rocks, is a new paradise to be explored ! Bocan just got back from Lembongan and want to share all of experiences, the tips for accommodation, how to get there and all the things about it.
How To Get There?
From wherever you are in Bali, there are 3 harbors that serve the route to Lembongan. They are Sanur, Padang Bai, and Tanjung Benoa. Padang Bai harbor usually used to reach Lombok and Gili Trawangan, while Tanjung Benoa is a center of water sports such as snorkeling, paragliding and cruises. For Boboers who feels like to party on the cruise or just look around you can do it here. From Tanjung Benoa, there are cruises available and from Padang Bai there are speedboats and local boats with affordable price. Sanur is the harbor that specializes on the route to Lembongan and Penida. From Sanur, Boboers may choose speedboats and public boats that serves the route. If you want to get cheaper ticket, dont buy it at the check in post, buy it on the boat office instead or you can reserve the ticket online. It takes 30-45 minutes from Sanur to Lembongan with speedboat. Along the way to Sanur there are speedboats ticket agents, cafe, and lodging. If Boboers bring vehicle to Sanur, there are parking lots available that cost IDR 20.000. The cost for speedboat ticket is around IDR 250.000 in 2016, Bocan reserves it here. The boat’s schedule is on time, please be sure you are not show up late. Though, if you missed the boat, you can still ride the next departure. You should arrive at least half an hour before the departure time to check in. Bocan was worried, how to take the bags aboard because there were no docks in Sanur. Luckily there were porters that helps Bocan to take the bags aboard.
By the way, pick-ups service from hotel was already included with the ticket price actually, since Bocan depart from Canggu, we missed this benefit.

Transportation in Lembongan
No need to worry about transportation in Lembongan, there were so many car and motorcycle rentals and other type of transportation for tourist. Bocan rents a motorcycle for two days, IDR 75.000 for a day. We took it 12.PM noon time and return it on the same time next two days, then it cost IDR 150,000. On the other hand, hotels also have pick up service from the harbor to the hotel and vice versa.
Best Places To Sleeping Beauty
Dream beach Hut
The first Bocan hotel recommendation is Dream Beach Hut, which the most spectacular infinity pool hotel in all Lembongan :p and also there is beautiful beach right in front of the hotel, another bonus, Dream Beach Hut is located right beside the Devil’s Tears. Unfortunately Bocan unable to book the room here because a very short time of preperation. As a tip, to book a room in Lembongan make sure you book it far before your travel date. Lembongan and Ceningan is a small island, if you walk from an end to another end of the island it would not cost you much time, less than an hour. Maybe it’s because of the island itself is already small and occupied by many of hotels, housings and restaurants. There was no big hotels like in Bali, a hotel only have less than 30 rooms. First come, first served.
